Christopher graduated from East Central University with a degree in music education. While at East Central Chris also studied music composition, music theory, sacred music, organ, and piano. Christopher currently works as Director of Music at Whitebead Public School where he teaches PK-4th general music and was tasked with starting a band program from scratch for 5th-8th grade students. Chris writes everything from beginning piano and band works to professional level jazz works, concert band works, and solo literature. He also has experience arranging and transcribing for marching band. His awards include Outstanding Composer and Sound Design for Collegiate Theater for his original score to Medea, Outstanding Composer for Woodwinds at ECU 2016, Outstanding Composer at ECU 2016, and the Ragtime Composition Award for the Scott Joplin Festival 2018 at ECU. Christopher has also arranged the ECU Fight Song, written various arrangements for the ECU Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and other ensembles at ECU. He also serves as the Music Director at Saint Timothy's Episcopal Church in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Recently, Mr. Bragg received a commission to arrange People are Strange by The Doors for the East Central University Jazz Ensemble.
Corey graduated from East Central University in the fall of 2019. While at ECU he served as a tutor of musical theory, lead jazz trombonist, principal trombone of the Wind Ensemble, section leader, and band librarian. Mr. Burton has also won the following awards: Second in the MTNA Soloist Competition of Oklahoma and the Saied Band Scholarship Award. Recently, Mr. Burton was commissioned to arrange Van Morrison's Moondance for the East Central University Jazz Ensemble. He is far more accomplished than Mr. Bragg, but with a name like Bragg, he has to brag a lot.
